Patent Policy
This policy describes how ICRALA protects its intellectual property in the induction coating removal and laser ablation process, and how third parties may seek permission to practise it.
Scope of Protection
The ICRALA process - the sequence, controls and methodology that combine induction coating removal with laser ablation - is patent-protected. Protection covers the combined method and its control methodology, not general-purpose laser or induction equipment.
Permitted Use
Descriptions, diagrams and published research on this site may be referenced for education, journalism, standards work and research with attribution to ICRALA. Commercial practice of the process requires a written licence.
Requesting Permission
To request a licence, an evaluation or a demonstration, email info@icrala.com with your organisation, the intended application and the project scope.
